The specialty program will be led for a duration of 8 weeks by Betsy Bauer, a member of Patel Conservatory at the Straz Center for Performing Arts. Running from June 6th -July 25th.
Students will learn to integrate acting, singing and dancing in performance with a focus on character development, stage presence and storytelling. They will begin each class with a physical and vocal warm-up, theatre-improv games and a bit of history lesson on the subject, following with learning lyrics and choreography to a specific musical theater number which they will rehearse.
