Objectives:
To help attendees better understanding of diagnostic criteria of all eating disorders, with an emphasis on how these diagnoses present in autistic populations.
To provide greater understanding of levels of care for eating disorders and when to refer an autistic client to a higher level of care and when this may not be helpful.
Provide a greater understanding of the eating disorder as a coping mechanism and strategies to help clients develop more adaptive coping strategies in the context of ASD.
To examine how Intuitive Eating and Health At Every Size concepts may require adaption for autistic clients.
