PALS: AwA Fun Friday @ Winter Garden

Time: 9AM-3:30PM

Drop Off & Pick Up Location: West Orange Trail Bikes & Blades, 17914 FL-438, Winter Garden, FL 34787

Participants will be riding a bike as part of this activity! They can bring their own bike (for a reduced cost OR rent one for the day). Parents will need to be present to rent a bike at the start of the day.

All ticket admissions and lunch are included in the cost.

About the Program

Adventures with Autism (AwA) is a social recreation program designed to target social and life skills by teaching teens with ASD how to be flexible thinkers, problem solvers, and effective collaborators while developing friendships. The facilitated program will support participants in exploring an itinerary of opportunities one day at a time in different regions through the Central Florida Community.

All participants must be registered with the UCF Center for Autism and Related Disabilities.

A Note on Transportation Different forms of public transportation will be used during AwA. The goal is to teach individuals how to navigate public transportation and travel in a group. Individuals will be always with staff during any form of public transportation.
