The program at Nature’s Place College is designed to encourage, nurture, and support students and their individual learning needs and styles. At the same time, great expectations are placed upon students with full participation expected at all times to the best of their abilities. Classes are evaluated on a mastery based system where each student will receive a performance note of either Ready or Not Ready. A student may not move forward in a class until they have mastered all required skills and achieved a Ready status. The class is simply required to be repeated until mastery or readiness has occurred.



Starting January 2021 we will begin offering entry level classes working toward an Associate of Arts degree with an emphasis on life skills. Nature’s Place College is designed to instruct in skills eventually leading toward employment. Each student will have a very individualized program of study under the supervision of a specific instructor. Most academic classes are online and available 24/7. Labs occur twice weekly in which students meet with their instructors and also perform hands-on tasks and assignments.
