The Incredible Years® is a free evidence-based that is offered to parents of young children, in Hillsborough County, to promote children's emotional regulation, social competence, language skills, school readiness, and relationships with others. With multiple curriculums to choose from and fully funded by Children’s Board of Hillsborough County, families can opt in to the one of their choosing based on their family’s needs and dynamics. This dynamic and well-rounded team offers tandem parent and child sessions for 3-8 year olds, a parent-only group focusing on early interventions for Autism Spectrum & Language Delays, and a baby parent program for expecting parents and those with children up to 6 months old. In all sessions, caregivers engage with one another in interactive sessions that include discussion, role plays, and worksheets to build on their strategies to support their child’s development. In our child sessions for 3-8 year olds, children engage with puppets and one another in activities, circle time, and child-directed play to learn what it means to be a good friend, how to identify and understand their emotions, and how to problem solve.
